Yes, I have an MFA in comic books, or “Sequential Art,” so it sounds more legit to the non-believers. 

Mostly I’ve done short self-published stories, but I chip away at a magnum-opus-sized vampire story when I’m not at my day job or painting other paintings. I’ve also assisted on a Batman mini-series (Batman: Gotham County Line, written by Steve Niles, Art by Scott Hampton). All in all, my dream life is to paint (and write) that vampire story, day after day after day, until it’s done.
